Nowadays, thieves come prepared with power tools that make light work of most bike locks in just seconds. If you're leaving your bike anywhere for an extended period of time, you should be locking it with something resistant to an angle grinder, and in our experience, this is one of the best out there. The price is still quite high, but the 34% discount will make it a little easier on your bank balance.

The 1000XM4 wireless noise cancelling headphones from Sony currently have a massive discount, and they're an incredibly popular pair of over-the-ear headphones. They have been cheaper before, but not by much, and we don't expect this price to budge a great deal downwards.

The Edge 540 Solar is no longer the latest 5-series Garmin, but it's still very much one of the best bike computers on the market. This is the best price we've ever seen it, courtesy of the early Amazon Black Friday sales.

For a combination of big battery, big screen, and big power, while not quite paying top-tier price, this is a great deal. It's still a big buy, at over $500, but it packs a similar punch to the newer Edge 1050, while offering a battery life that'll last literally days.

If you've got an expensive bike or three in the garage, you probably go to bed at night with low-level anxiety about them being stolen while you sleep. There are plenty of things you can do to protect against that, such as buying big locks, ground anchors, guard dogs and high-security doors, but you should also consider Blink's outdoor camera system, which connects via WiFi and catches would-be criminals in the act.

Want fast roadside inflation without the effort of pumping? Co2 canisters are your cheap option, but need replacing after each inflation. The AS2 Pro is a hugely popular option that offers 60-second reinflation and can be recharged in just 15 minutes. Unlike CO2, it also gives you a specific PSI reading upon reinflation, letting you maintain your dialed-in pressure.

The Magicshine Seemee is one of our favourite bike lights, and although we've seen it cheaper than this in the past, we'd happily buy it ourselves at this price. To get a 1200 lumen front light from a well-known brand at under $50 is almost unheard of, so this is a stunning buy if you need to upgrade your night riding. And if you're unsure about what brightness you need, our rule of thumb is that 1000 lumens is the minimum for riding on completely unlit roads at night, but you'll get away with less if you're riding under streetlights and want to be seen by other road users.

Rear bicycle radars are having their day, with dozens of brands launching them to varying degrees of success. The OG will always be the Garmin Varia, though. It has forever just 'worked' and this version with its bright rear light means you're killing two birds with one nicely-discounted stone.

I didn't love the Perfetto ROS 3 that launched this year. I much prefer this one, which is a little warmer and better suited to the colder winters we get here in the UK. Finding it with a 40% discount at Competitive Cyclist makes me wish I lived in the USA (although if I had a choice, I'd live somewhere further south where winter didn't hit quite so hard). Still... this is a good buy for someone in the PNW, NY, or anywhere between where winter packs a colder punch.

The Mille GT Ultraz jacket received a perfect 5 star review from our expert test team. We especially liked its ability to wick away sweat on hard winter rides, as well as the quality pockets. We've found a flurry of Black Friday bike light deals here in the UK, and easily the best deal for most people will be this Magicshine RN1200, priced at a smidge over £30. At 1200 lumens, you've got enough brightness for road riding in the proper dark. You'll only want more if you ride particularly twisty, fast descents often, or tend to ride techy gravel at night. Otherwise, this will cover most riders' needs just fine.

Although the Magicshine light is a better lumens-per-pound deal, the Cateye Ampp 1100 offers similar output with a better (in my opinion) beam pattern that lights up the road more clearly. I also really like Cateye's quick twist-on mounting that can be switched from bike to bike in seconds.

If you want a light focused on making you visible, rather than lighting up the road in front of you, then this combination from Cateye is a great deal. The 500-lumen front light and 150-lumen rear are plenty enough to help other road users see you.

Black Friday indoor cycling UK
It's no secret I'm a fan of indoor cycling, and I've done Black Friday deals for the past six years, so like some sort of Zwift avatar Liam Neeson, I have a particular set of skills when it comes to knowing what indoor bike tech is good and bad, and finding relevant deals.

To get us started, this is an absolutely insane discount on a smart trainer that used to be priced at over £1200. Over the years, Saris has slowly dropped the retail price in line with the market, but even based on today's £600 RRP, this price is a steal.

Two very similar deals in a row now... the first: Wahoo's Kickr Core with the Zwift Click and Cog hardware, which essentially lets you mount any bike and then shift in game, rather than worrying about cassette compatibility and then clunking noisily up and down your gears as you ride.
Read moreRead less▼
And the second, for a smidge more, the same Wahoo Kickr Core but with a traditional cassette. You get a choice of a few options, so make sure you choose the right one for your bike. The benefit here is you aren't then tied to Zwift (or Erg Mode elsewhere), so you can continue to ride in MyWhoosh, Rouvy, TPVirtual etc, with real-life gears that help you up and down the virtual hills. For what it's worth, you can remove the Zwift Cog from the above product and swap on a cassette, or vice versa, if you later change your mind.

To continue the Wahoo theme, one of the most popular smart trainers on the market, the Kickr V6 does everything well, without an unnecessary list of bells and whistles. Wahoo's attempt at a smart trainer that mimics the movement of a real bike never really took hold. White winter shoes may not sound like they make sense but with a discount like this you can afford to buy an extra packet of wet wipes. Gore-Tex to keep you dry, extra insulation to keep you warm. Ditch the overshoes for winter boots and you'll never look back.

Trek's top end road shoe now with half off! The knitted upper keeps it breathable, while dual BOA dials cranking skeletal straps over the knitted uppers lock the foot in. There's a smaller discount on white, too, if black and gold is a bit bling for you.

With varying discounts based on colours that rise to 50% off, the S-Works Torch shoes are one of the best Black Friday cycling shoe deals we've found so far. They were recently awarded the best overall in our guide to the best cycling shoes, so now is a really great opportunity to get a great pair of shoes at a bargain price.
The 'Deep Marine' version carries the biggest discount and in a limited range of sizes now.

The Torch Lace, similar to the Torch also featured here, is one of our favourite pairs of shoes at the moment. They've been cheaper than this in the past, but almost a third off some of the best cycling shoes on the market - in three colours and most sizes - isn't to be ignored.

A bit of a consumable part, the yellow cleat comes with most of Shimano's road pedals (except Dura-Ace) and typically lasts a year or two of regular use, depending on how much walking you do in that time. With six degrees of float (essentially lateral movement of your heel) they're often preferred over the blue cleats by those with knee paind or other niggles.

The blue versions offer two degrees of float - or lateral heel movement. These come with Dura-Ace pedals, and are generally preferred by those who like a more locked-in feeling to your pedalling action. Red cleats are fully fixed, with zero float, but they're not on offer at the moment.

Our pick as the best road bike helmet on the market, the Evade III did very well in our wind tunnel helmet test too. It's well vented, super comfy, lightweight, and it looks great. It's usually quite an expensive helmet, but this deal brings the cost down a bit.

A fast XC bike for most people, the Epic 8 prioritises capability over roughstuff, meaning it's forgiving when you inevitably hit the corner faster than you planned. With front and rear RockShox SID suspension, SRAM Level brakes, an X-Fusion dropper and progressive XC Race geometry, the Epic 8 is a serious bike.

Similar to the Combiflex above, the Z Lok Combo offers the same end result; a combination lock that won't stand up to tools, but prevents someone walking off with your bike unchallenged. This is a little cheaper, but doesn't fit into a pocket quite so easily. It's great if you're carrying a frame bag, though.

The Pirelli Smartube is one of a few well-respected TPU inner tube models, which are incredibly lightweight and offer impressive rolling resistance performance. They're known to be a bit more prone to punctures, but I tend to ride with a couple in my saddle bag as a lightweight emergency stash.

If you ride more than around 5000 miles a year, you'll probably need to replace your cassette, and while you could wait 'til it's worn before you buy the next one, I like to buy a few over Black Friday and save myself a few quid. This deal brings the 11-30 11-speed 105 cassette down by over half, to just £26.

If you can't justify the Dura-Ace deal above, this Ultegra Di2 groupset at under £1000 might be a little easier to swallow. Frequently asked Black Friday questions
When is Black Friday 2025?
In 2025, Black Friday will be on November 28th. That means Cyber Monday falls in December, the 1st infact. If you care, Christmas is a Thursday, and my birthday next year falls on a Tuesday. You don't care, do you?
How long will the deals last?
This depends on the product and the retailer in question, but most deals tend to remain while stocks last, especially those that are available this early on in November. Every year, the best Black Friday bike deals and the biggest discounts are reserved for the Black Friday weekend only. Therefore, if you're perusing the sale without any specific buying intent, you'll probably be best off holding your horses 'til then. But if there's a particular product you're looking to buy, and you find it at a price you're happy with, we'd suggest buying it before you miss out.
We will be clear with our advice, though. If we find something that's the best price we've ever seen it, we'll make that clear. If we think there's a chance it could get cheaper if you hold, then we'll say so. We don't have a crystal ball, but we do have years of experience, hundreds of industry contacts, and a handful of price tracking tools at our disposal that help inform our judgments!
What were the best deals last Black Friday?
Last year, there were plenty of excellent discounts for cyclists, including $100 off a range of Garmin Edge computers, over 40% off S-Works Torch shoes, and a similar discount on our favourite road bike helmet of the year. We even saw a best-ever price on the ever-popular (though not specific to cycling) Apple AirPods Pro 2.
There were also deals to avoid - the Amazon deal on the Wahoo Kickr Core was one such example, as well as the discounted Lezyne Strip Drive 400 rear bike light.
Our weekend was dedicated to sharing as much advice as we could conjure. We managed to hack the Rapha sale to help people get a better deal, and we uncovered the absolute cheapest way to watch next year's Tours de France if you live in the USA.
And that's it! Kudos for getting to the bottom. Use the links below if you fancy going round again:
