Stage 2 is the first road race stage with a 99km between Molins de Rei and Sant Boi de Llobregat begins with a category 2 climb to Alto de la Creu de L'Aragall, early in the stage, then heads through the valley roads and there is a steep descent and flat run-in to the finish line Sant Boi de Llobregat.
