Giro d'Italia: Bais wins stage 7 from breakaway trio atop Campo Imperatore

Davide Bais (Eolo-Kometa) claimed a dream-like first pro victory on stage 7 of the Giro d'Italia, as the day's breakaway made it all the way to the top of the Gran Sasso d'Italia while the overall contenders declined to trade any blows due to a headwind on the climb to the finish line.
