Test your knowledge of the Tour's Grand Départs
Fancy a quiz to get you in the mood for Le Tour?
The 2026 Tour de France gets underway this weekend, starting in Barcelona with a highly anticipated team time trial. It will be the 27th time that the men's Grand Tour has started outside of France since the first foreign start in 1954.
But how many Grand Départ host countries can you name?
We've given you a short but fair time limit of five minutes to complete the quiz, as several nations have welcomed the race more than once. But should you come unstuck, feel free to use a hint by signing in or registering via the button at the top right of the page.
