Kirsten Frattini has been the Editor of Cyclingnews since December 2025, overseeing editorial operations and output across the brand and delivering quality, engaging content.


She manages global budgets, racing & events, production scheduling, and contributor commissions, collaborating across content sections and teams in the UK, Europe, North America, and Australia to ensure audience and subscription growth across the brand.


Kirsten has a background in Kinesiology and Health Science. She has been involved in cycling from the community and grassroots level to professional cycling's biggest races, reporting on the WorldTour, Spring Classics, Tours de France, World Championships and Olympic Games.


She began her sports journalism career with Cyclingnews as a North American Correspondent in 2006 before moving into a Production Editor role in 2014, writing, producing and publishing international racing content. In 2018, Kirsten became Women's Editor – overseeing the content strategy, race coverage and growth of women's professional cycling – before becoming Deputy Editor in 2023.


Kirsten enjoys learning about the figures in our sport, delving into in-depth interviews, and writing about people and stories that move us and change our perspectives. She investigates, researches, and reports on some of cycling's major issues, and explores topics that go beyond our sport and have a worldwide impact.
