Latest News from the Race
The 2011 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup opens in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, on the weekend of April 21-24. Round one includes cross country, four cross and downhill races. It will be the first race of 2011 that draws nearly all of the world's best mountain bike racers.
Pietermaritzburg hosted the World Cup once previously two years ago, although last year it was not part of the circuit.
