Joan Llordella and Rebecca Rusch won stage 2 of the Trans Andes challenge on Tuesday. The 57km route began in Huilo Huilo and ended in Coñaripe. The going was extra challenging due to weather conditions.

Lordella finished ahead of yesterday's stage winner Javier Püschel in the solo men's category while Rebecca Rusch and Sonya Looney went one-two again in the solo women's category.

Tomorrow's stage 3 will include a 71km demanding circuit crossing through native forests and bordering the Villarica volcano.
