The 62nd edition of the Jayco Herald Sun Tour will start with a twilight prologue on the banks of Melbourne's Yarra River for the second consecutive year and will culminate on the tough ascent to Arthurs Seat on the Mornington Peninsula.


The race retains its UCI 2.1 ranking with Orica-GreenEdge confirmed as the first WorldTour team to attend the race with defending champion Simon Clarke.


The race is sure to be a tightly contested affair with local riders looking to impress against the international field on the hot roads of country Victoria.
