Young Caja Rural-Seguros RGA talent Jaume Guardeño has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a training crash on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old Spaniard reportedly hit a rock in the road while descending before losing control of his bike and colliding with a car.

AS reported that Guardeño, who was training in Centelles, north of Barcelona, was sedated and was in a serious condition following the crash. As of Thursday morning, however, his condition has stabilised.
