Tour de France penalties, fines and yellow cards – Adam Yates fined for 'sticky bottle' on shortened stage 9 into Ussel

Stage 9 saw a shortened day of racing at the Tour de France due to red-alert heatwave conditions across the Massif Central.

The day saw four fines in total, with UAE Team Emirates-XRG rider Adam Yates and team manager Jose Antonio Fernandez handed fines for irregular feeding for a short distance.
