UAE Tour 2026 results
Stage 7: Jonathan Milan takes final stage sprint win as Isaac del Toro secures overall victory
Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) completed his domination of sprints at the UAE Tour, speeding to stage victory number three in the race's concluding stage at Abu Dhabi Breakwater.
The Italian was unmatched in the final dash to the line of the 149km stage, which saw the breakaway caught just 2km from the finish. He held off Erlend Blikra (Uno-X Mobility) and Sam Welsford (Ineos Grenadiers) to secure victory in a stage run at a race-record 50.566kph.
Stage 6: Isaac del Toro triumphs on Jebel Hafeet summit finish to take race lead from Antonio Tiberi
Isaac del Toro (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) soloed home to win stage 6 of the UAE Tour atop the race's second summit finish at Jebel Hafeet, distancing Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain Victorious) and taking the race lead in the process.
The Mexican attacked 2.5km from the top of the climb, putting in an acceleration that Tiberi couldn't match. For the remainder of the climb, the Italian went backwards, eventually finishing the day in fourth at 31 seconds down.
Stage 5: Jonathan Milan doubles up in scrappy sprint finish on stage 5
Lidl-Trek and Jonathan Milan went back-to-back on stage 5 of the UAE Tour, with the Italian powerfully sprinting to another victory in Dubai.
It was a slightly more technical finish on Friday with two big turns in the final 1,500m, but Lidl-Trek navigated the fierce fight for position to deliver Milan to the perfect point on the finishing straight.
He opened up early and had to push on for a long time to the line, but in front proved the best place to be and he was easily able to hold off Erlend Blikra (Uno-X Mobility) in second and Matteo Malucelli (XDS Astana) in third.
Stage 4: Jonathan Milan delivers devastating bunch sprint victory, Antonio Tiberi remains the leader
The first full bunch sprint of the 2026 UAE Tour was claimed in domineering style by leading fastman Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek), easily clinching the stage ahead of Ethan Vernon (NSN) and Milan's younger brother Matteo (Groupama-FDJ United).
Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain Victorious) remained in the overall lead after an incident-free stage for the leading GC racers.
Stage 3: Antonio Tiberi soars to stage win, race lead on Jebel Mobrah summit finish as Remco Evenepoel loses two minutes
Italy's Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain Victorious) conquered the new Jebel Mobrah climb to win stage 3 of the UAE Tour and claim the overall lead of the race, holding off a big chase from Isaac del Toro (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) to take his first victory since 2024.
Del Toro's effort came up short of catching the strong Italian but earned him second, 15 seconds down on Tiberi. Lennert Van Eetvelt (Lotto-Intermarché) finished third, a further 14 seconds down, on the climb that blew up the peloton.
Stage 2: UAE Tour: Remco Evenepoel takes leader's jersey with storming time trial victory on stage 2
The rainbow bands on the back of Remco Evenepoel flew through the streets of Hudayriat Island to move the time trial world champion into the race lead on stage 2.
Evenepoel beat Josh Tarling (Ineos) by six seconds with Remi Cavagna (Groupama-FDJ United) in third at 12 seconds. Overnight leader Del Toro lost 42 seconds to tumble into 10th overall.
Stage 1: Isaac del Toro upsets the sprinters with a sensational attack to win on opening day
Isaac Del Toro (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) won the opening stage at the 2026 UAE Tour, snatching a sensational victory away from the sprinters on Monday. The Mexican, a leading contender for the overall title, launched a vicious acceleration on an uphill finish, with Cees Bol (Decathlon CMA CGM) taking second place, and Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain Victorious) claiming the final spot on the podium.
Del Toro leads the overall classification into the stage 2 time trial on Tuesday.
UAE Tour 2026 Information
The UAE Tour returns for a eighth edition in 2026, taking place over seven days from February 16 to February 22.
The only WorldTour race in the Middle East is positioned as the third event on the men's WorldTour calendar, after the Tour Down Under and Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, and before Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
The UAE Tour launched in 2019 when two existing races merged, the Abu Dhabi Tour and the Dubai Tour. Primož Roglič won the inaugural race.
In 2022, Tadej Pogačar won the overall title for the second year in a row, making it a replay of 2021 as he finished in front of runner-up Adam Yates. In 2023, Remco Evenepoel claimed the overall victory, besting Luke Plapp and Adam Yates.
In 2024, Lennert Van Eetvelt (Lotto-Dstny) won the overall title at the UAE Tour after winning the final summit finish to Jebel Hafeet on the finale stage 7. Jebel Hafeet has become a defining climb in the Middle East, having been part of the Abu Dhabi Tour and now the UAE Tour. The climb sits on one of the highest mountains in the United Arab Emirates and near the border with Oman.
Pogačar dominated again in 2025, winning two stages and riding away from his GC rivals on the final climb to Jebel Hafeet. Josh Tarling won the time trial stage, while Tim Merlier and Jonathan. Milan won two sprint stages each.
