The third and final stage in the Andalusian mountains. The stage is quite short with most of the difficulties crammed in at the end. The heat of the south of Spain and some tired legs could see a final selection on the hors-category climb the Sierra de la Pandera at the end of the stage. It will be the last real chance that the climbers will have to move up on GC so attacks should not come as a surprise.
