FAQs
Is ROUVY free?
There is a free tier of ROUVY available which simply requires you to create an account. However, it limits you to 20 km of riding per month, so you'll need to consider one of the brand's paid tiers if you want to cover more distance.
New users can make the most of the brand's 7-day free trial to test out the service before they sign up - just create an account and choose a plan, and you'll get full access to augmented reality (AR) routes, workouts, and events for a week before you're charged.
If you're not a fan, just cancel before your 7 days are up and you won't be charged a thing. If you like the service, just wait until your trial is up and your chosen subscription will begin automatically.
How much is a ROUVY plan?
ROUVY offers customers can choose to sign up for a Single (1 rider), Duo (2 riders), or Group (up to 5 riders) plan on either a monthly or yearly basis. Single is the cheapest option on offer, coming in at $19.99 a month (or $179.99 for a year), whilst Duo will cost you $29.90 a month (or $249.99 a year), and Group will set you back $59.99 each month (or $499.99 a year).
Generally, you'll save more by choosing to sign up for a year rather than continuing to pay monthly. You'll also more the more users on your plan, but if you are looking to sort subscriptions for a number of people, these multi-user alternatives will work out cheaper than buying several individual plans.
How does the ROUVY loyalty program work?
The ROUVY loyalty program means that the longer you're a ROUVY subscriber, the less you'll pay on your annual plans. After 65 continuous days of membership, you'll lock in a 15% discount on yearly plans, rising to 18% after one year, then 21% after 2 years, and finally 24% after 3 years. This even includes any time you've paused your subscription, meaning you won't be penalized for saving money out of season.
Is there a ROUVY app?
Yes, the main ROUVY app is available to download for iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Apple TV devices. You'll need to download this on at least one device to use the service, as it displays the service's augmented reality tracks, menus and pairs with other devices (including selected smart trainers and bikes). If you want to add in-ride controls, route management and performance data to your phone, there is also a mobile companion app (ROUVY Training) available through the Google Play and Apple App store.
ROUVY Saving tips
Catch seasonal sales
Watch out around major holidays such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, as ROUVY tends to run seasonal sales to coincide with these events that discount its plans by as much as 25%. Here at Cycling News, we keep a close eye on ways to save with cycling services, so check back here as the holidays roll around to see the latest deals the brand has to offer.
Choose an annual plan
If you've made the most of your free trial and already decided ROUVY is the service for you, then committing to an annual plan is the wisest move if you want to lock in some savings. For example, on a Single plan, 12 months on the monthly plan ($19.99 a month will cost you $239.88, whereas committing for a year only costs $179.99 - that's about 25% off.
Save with group or duo
If you're looking to cover more than one rider in your plan, picking Duo (2 riders) or Group (up to 5 riders) instead of separate Single plans will massively reduce your costs. At $29.90 a month, Duo gives you a second rider at just under $10 a month (that's more than 50% off), whilst a Group plan comes in at $59.99 each month, meaning every rider after your third is effectively completely free.
What's more, you'll get greater savings for committing to an annually on both Duo and Group plans. For Duo, paying yearly will save you around $110 a year, whilst paying for 12 months of a Group plan saves you $220 a year, meaning around 30% off both options (versus the 25% you'd save on Single).
Refer a friend
Know someone who'd like ROUVY? Refer them to the brand and not only will you net them a discount on their subscription, you'll also earn a reward. Just sign in to your account to get your unique link, then pass it on to your friend. When they sign up for a Single, Duo or Group plan paid monthly, they'll get 50% off their first two months, and you'll be given $10 credit once they've finished their trial period.
Pause your subscription
Not using ROUVY as much as usual? You can pause your subscription at any time to temporarily revert to the free tier and save on monthly costs. Although this will limit you to 20km a month on the app, this is a really handy way to save money on your plan during off-peak seasons, busy periods, or if you sustain any injuries. What's more, pausing won't affect your loyalty bonus, so you'll be able to cut costs without a catch. You can pause your account once per calendar year for up to 180 days and reactivate your original plan at any time

How we source coupon codes
Cyclingnews has a dedicated Coupons team who source codes and regularly update pages, making sure they show the most recent deals and info. We curate all of our pages ourselves - no third-parties are involved in sourcing our codes and deals, or in creating surrounding content.
Our London-based Commercial team leverages their connections with affiliate networks and trusted brands to source exclusive offers, whilst our Offers team (based in Cardiff, UK) scours retailer and competitor websites for the latest codes, testing them as they go.
The best discounts are uploaded to our pages, along with insider tips from industry experts and helpful info on sales, shipping, membership programs, military, student discounts and more. Our pages are also updated multiple times a week to ensure they stay as fresh as can be.
How we test coupon codes
Our dedicated Coupons team verifies every code uploaded to our site, hand-testing them at the checkout to ensure they can be added to your order for a discount. To guarantee our codes work for everyone who visits our pages, we don’t include any one-time use or user specific codes. We also check the web and our affiliate networks on a regular basis to make sure we’re listing all the latest deals and info, including expiry dates and terms and conditions for individual codes.
What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work
Our team works hard to ensure every code has been tested before it is uploaded, but despite our best efforts, codes can expire or their terms be updated before we can update our pages, meaning your code might not always work as expected. If this should happen, don’t worry - our team is on hand to help.
First, check the terms and conditions of the individual offer you want to redeem. Go back to the page where you found your code and click “See Terms & Conditions” to reveal any specific requirements you may need to meet. These might include verification (i.e. for student discounts), meeting a minimum spend (i.e. $50 off when you spend $300 or more), or buying certain combinations of items (i.e. free accessories with every e-bike).
If you’ve confirmed that your order meets the relevant terms and conditions but you’re still experiencing issues, you can contact our team for support. Please provide details of the code you attempted to use, which of our pages it was listed on, and a summary of the issue you experienced in your email. One of our team will be in touch as soon as they’re able to help resolve your issue.
How we make money
Whenever you use a coupon code listed on Cyclingnews, we may receive compensation in the form of commission if you go on to make a purchase. The amount of commission we will earn depends on the retailer and our relationship with them.
Adopting this commission model means we can offer coupons free of charge, so you won’t pay any fees to apply your discount to your order - just the discounted total once your code has been applied.
