Course description

The change from flat to mountains and the change of gear ratios of the bikes is not going to be so sharp. Legs won´t be exhausted from riding along flat fields and Asturias will serve as a good training field in order to face Lagos the following day. Tactics will be completely opposed among the different teams again. The downhill to Gijón will de dizzy again.Last year the riders arrived in Gijón from Cangas de Onís having gone through the kind of attractive mountain passes that riders like. The average speed was over 43 kilometres an hour and Alvaro González de Galdeano showed his great quality, similar to his brother´s. Five riders arrived with five minutes of advantage.
