Overview
Daryl Impey (Mitchelton-Scott) won the overall title at the 2018 Santos Tour Down Under. The WorldTour opener concluded on Sunday with stage 6 where Andre Greipel (Lotto Soudal) won the final sprint.
Impey took the overall title from defending champion Richie Porte (BMC Racing), who placed second but with the same overall time. Tom-Jelte Slagter (Dimension Data), another former winner of the race, completed the final overall podium in third.
