Tour de France Femmes 2024 - Stage 2 preview
Tuesday, August 13, 2024: Dordrecht to Rotterdam, 67km

Stage 2 is the first of two races on August 13, with the Tour de France Femmes peloton facing a short road stage in the morning and then a time trial in the late afternoon.
The 67km road race stage will bring the riders from Dordrecht back into Rotterdam. Although it is flat, strong winds could play a role in the outcome of the stage.
Charlotte Kool (DSM-Firmenich PostNL) will race in the leader's yellow jersey and will surely be a contender for the flat stage if it ends in a sprint.
Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx-Protime) will surely be out for revenge and is perhaps the favourite for the victory.
Kool took a ten-second time bonus but Wiebes could perhaps take the lead if she can also win an intermediate sprint during the stage.
The long day of racing will end with the stage 3 6.3km time trial around Rotterdam.
