Tour of Utah 2017
The 2017 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah will take place July 31 - August 6. This year will mark the 2.HC race's eighth appearance on the UCI calendar. Past UCI winners include Scott Moninger, Francisco Mancebo, Levi Leipheimer, Johann Tschopp, Tom Danielson, Joe Dombrowski and Lachlan Morton.
2017 Tour of Utah race route
The 2017 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah will stay mostly in the northern part of the state around Salt Lake City and the Great Salt Lake. The race begins in Logan with a stage that starts and finishes in the town that is home of Utah State University. Stage 2 will take the peloton from Brigham City to the Snowbasin Resort, a venue for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Stage 3 is a time trial in Big Cottonwood Canyon, while stage 4 will be a circuit race in South Jordan. Stage 5 will be from Layton City to Bountiful, the third time a stage has finished there. Stage 6, the Queen stage, will start in Heber Valley and finish at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort. The 2017 Tour of Utah will conclude with a circuit race in downtown Salt Lake City.
