San Sebastián de los Reyes (San Sebastián of the kings) will have the honour for the first time to send of the riders for their final champagne ride towards Madrid. But after the initial celebrations the sprinters's teams will put down the hammer to discourage breakaways.
In Madrid a circuit along the Paseo de la Castellana is used. It is less famous than the Champs Elysées, unless you ask a Madrilene, of course.
To make things easier, the final stage will be only 102.2 kilometres long – the shortest road stage of the 68th Vuelta a España.
