Sprinters tighten your toe-straps because this is the 2008 Giro d'Italia's sprint stage deluxe. Starting from Ferrari's homeland in Modena – host of eight prior stage departures – the stage covers 177 kilometres in its dead-flat journey to Cittadella, the medieval military outpost for Padova.
The race will conclude with one six-kilometre loop of the stunning walled-city. Sprinters will be thinking 'For victory in these walls I would give all of the team.' (GB)
