Tony Gallopin enjoyed a career first time trial win on the final stage of the Etoile de Besseges with race leader Lilian Calmejane (Direct Energie) second to the Lotto Soudal man.
Calmejane did enough to hold off Gallopin by five second and claim the overall victory. Mads Würtz Schmidt (Katusha-Alpecin) was fourth on the stage and was bumped down third place overall.
