Similar to the 2007 Corsa Rosa, the 2008 edition will open with a team time trial run, but instead of starting on the island of Sardegna it will be on Sicilia. The teams will line up for 23.6 kilometres around the region's capital of Palermo. Look for the teams to give all they have to early Giro d'Italia control and the coveted leader's maglia rosa. (GB)
