Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx-Protime) took a commanding sprint victory on stage 1 of the Tour de France Femmes on the sharp uphill into Lausanne.

The Dutch sprinter crossed the line bike lengths ahead of runner-up Kim Le Court-Pienaar (AG Insurance-Soudal Team) and third-placed Demi Vollering (FDJ United-SUEZ) to take the first yellow jersey of this nine-day race.
