After three flat stages, the Giro d’Italia Women is set for a major shake-up on stage 4, with the 12.7km individual time trial from Belluno to Nevegal. After a fairly flat opener, the course then kicks up on the final 7.4km climb with an average gradient of 8.2% and maximum pitches of 14%. It’s going to hurt.

The start order for time trials in stage races is determined by position on the general classification in reverse, so last-placed Ilaria Marinetto will be the first rider off at 13:05 local time.
