Latest News from the Race
The second edition of the Abu Dhabi Tour will again feature some of the biggest names in the men's professional peloton with the likes of Mark Cavendish, Greg Van Avermaet and Vincenzo Nibali.
In 2016, the race opens with two stages suited for the sprinters with finishes in Madinat Zayet and Abu Dhabi.The stage 3 summit finish on Jebel Hafeet remains the queen stage of the race which has little change from the 2015 edition won by Esteban Chaves (Orica-BikeExchange). The race again concludes on the Yas Marina Circuit.
There will be 11 WorldTour teams in attendance at the race with four Pro-Continental and three Continental teams joining them.
