Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe) won his third Gent-Wevelgem title in a sprint over Elia Viviani (Quick-Step Floors) and Arnaud Démare (Groupama-FDJ).
The race marked the 11th round of the UCI WorldTour and took the peloton through the Flanders area of Belgium for another day of cobbles.
Unlike previous years, the peloton was greeted with sunny skies and a relatively smooth race all the way to the finish line in Wevelgem.
