Uruguayan cyclist Alvaro Tardaguila has accepted a two year ban for doping, the US Anti-Doping Agency has announced. Tardaguila, who rode for the UPMC team, tested positive for EPO and an anabolic agent after the Downer Avenue Bike Race (part of Superweek) held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin last year. His two year suspension will start from October 17, 2005, and he is disqualified from the Downer Avenue event and any subsequent races.
