Belgian team Quickstep has finalised its first rider contract for the 2009 season. The Belgian team directed by Patrick Lefévère signed young Italian hopeful Davide Malacarne for next year. The 2005 Junior World Champ of Cyclo-Cross won the Circuito Belvedere in Treviso, Italy, in spring. Malacarne will turn 21 years this July.
