Will Evans repeat in Tirreno-Adriatico?
Cadel Evans returns to Tirreno-Adriatico to renew his title in the race between the seas, and is backed by a strong BMC team, well equipped to handle the opening team time trial and subsequent six stages. Who can challenge the Tour de France champion? Roman Kreuziger (Astana)? Vincenzo Nibali (Liqugas-Cannondale)? Certainly the 15km climb at the finish of stage 5 precludes Fabian Cancellara from contending, but might not rule out his Radioshack-Nissan teammate Chris Horner.
