Dwars door Vlaanderen 2023 Route

Dwars door Vlaanderen starts in Roeselare and finishes in Waregem, only around 20km away on the other side of the motorway. However, in between they head into the heart of the Flemish Ardennes for a string of cobbles and climbs in the playground that hosts these much-loved Belgian Classics.
A flat start should see a breakaway form before the peloton hits the 'hill zone' after 65km, starting with the Volkegemberg, which is new to the menu this year. Following on are the Hotondberg, Knokteberg, and Kortekeer, which signals 100km on the clock. From there, the race can become dangerous, with a key move going on the Berg Ten Houte last year.
After that, it's onto the Kanarieberg and back round for the Knokteberg and Hotondberg again before a straighter line towards home via Ladeuze and the Nokereberg. The riders will then do a short finishing loop that takes in another side of the Nokereberg before a flat 8km to the line in Waregem.
The course for the 2023 Dwars door Vlaanderen includes a total of 11 climbs and eight cobblestone sections.
