Bloeizone Fryslan Tour: Ellen van Dijk wins opening time trial in Surhuisterveen

Ellen van Dijk (Trek-Segafredo) won the opening time trial stage at the newly-named Bloeizone Fryslan (formerly called the Healthy Ageing Tour) in Surhuisterveen. 

The time trial World Champion was fastest in the 14.4km route with a winning time of 18:34 to beat Riejanne Markus (Jumbo-Visma) by seven seconds and Marlen Reusser (SD Worx) by 25 seconds.
