Staf Scheirlinckx (Cofidis) will not take part in Tirreno-Adriatico due to a kidney problem. Scheirlinckx had traces of blood in his urine on Monday, and flew back home to Belgium from Italy on Tuesday. Scheirlinckx had similar problems just before Het Volk, but they passed. Cofidis has substituted Fred Bessy in his place.
