Italian track rider Annalisa Cucinotta suspended for two years for doping
Italian track rider Annalisa Cucinotta received a two-year suspension for doping from the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) today. Cucinotta, 23, tested positive for anabolic steroid in a control taken at the World Cup race in Cali, Colombia, December 11.
Cucinotta won a gold medal the scratch race ahead of Cuba's Gonzalez Valdivieso on the same day.
The suspension runs through December 10, 2010.
