Stage 10 - September 9: Sabiñánigo - Zaragoza, 151.3km

The racers will finally enjoy a relatively flat day after the stress in the mountains. But there are two category three climbs, the Puerto del Oroel and the Alto de Casas de Expe, to allow breaks to go clear. The sprinters' teams will try to let the gap not grow too much. This would allow for the traditional sprint finish in Zaragoza.

Zaragoza has much experience with hosting finishes in the Vuelta. It as done so for 47 times now. Last year it did come down again to a bunch sprint, with Erik Zabel winning ahead of Allan Davis and Paolo Bettini.
