Sager, Sonntag celebrate final stage, overall win

McConneloug, Broderick complete sweep
Jason Sager and Benjamin Sonntag (Team Jamis) won the Trans Andes Challenge after six demanding stages and 440km. The final day's stage finished up in Pucon and was the fastest and easiest of them all, with 45km starting from QuimeyCo Hot Springs.
Sager and Sonntag's final win came in a time of 1:28:53, giving them an overall time of 19:03:43. Their margin of victory was 1:04:33 ahead of runners-up Javier Puschel of Chile and Simon Zahnd of Switzerland. Canadian duo Marty Lazarsky and Neal Kendree were third overall.
Team Kenda/Seven/NoTubes' Mary McConneloug and Michael Broderick of the United States dominated the mixed category by winning all the stages. Their cumulative time was 20:37:56. Chileans Elisa García and Claus Plaut were second overall for the third consecutive year.
The race closed with an awards ceremony and closing party in the city of Pucón.
