Six races in Qater yielded six podium places for Milram's Erik Zabel, and although he is still waiting for his first win of the season, he is not unhappy with his new team, though. "We got better every day. Most of the riders came from a GS II team and simply need more experience," he told the Neues Deutschland newspaper. "I was quite satisfied with the last day. For two or three laps we controlled the field. Sure, I had to get loud sometimes and correct a little mistake here or there, but that's normal." He was also satisfied with his preparations. "I came into this season better than in the last five years. That's because of the different training, as well as the motivation of the new team."
