Spanish World's silver medalist Alejandro Valverde has been awarded the Pimiento de Oro in Llano de Brujas, Murcia on Saturday. The award was presented at the Casa Orene restaurant by Francisco Camps, president of the Generalidad Valenciana; Francisco Campillo, president of Campillo Palmera; and journalists Cristina López Schlischting and Angel Montiel.
