The parcours for stage 10 will test the rested legs of the peloton, as the terrain is rolling with a third category climb to negotiate in the final phase. A breakaway group may be hard to reel in by the sprinter's teams, although on the two previous finishes in Museo de Altamira sprinters have won the stage - Barry Hoban in 1964 and Guido Bontempi in 1981.
