Among those lining up in the seven-day race defending champion Daniel Martin (Garmin-Sharp), Movistar's Nairo Quintana and local favourite Joaquim Rodríguez (Katusha), but more importantly it will be another face-off between Tirreno-Adriatico winner Alberto Contador (Tinkoff-Saxo) and Tour de France winner Christopher Froome (Team Sky).
