Many Virginians competed in the first of three races in the Blue Ridge Triple Threat series near Charlottesville on Sunday, April 22. The event was held at the Blue Ridge School, where local students had logged many hours building trails for their school's team and the race.
The final two races in the three-race series will be the O'hill Meltdown in Charlottesville on April 29 and the Chimney Challenge at Walnut Creek Park on May 20. Proceeds benefit the World Bicycle Relief, an organization dedicated to providing access to independence and livelihood through the power of bicycles to help with disaster relief and healthcare mobilization.
