Unlock Bhutan and exclusive gear with the latest MyWhoosh season pass
MyWhoosh Pass 3 will enable riders to unlock the MyWhoosh Outland gravel bike and a Colnago, a special Y1RS
Bhutan is a mystical country nestled deep in the Himalayan mountains. The country is flanked by the awe-inspiring Himalayas, with rich, verdant forests, flowing rivers and a rich, traditional culture.
MyWhoosh, the free virtual cycling training app, has launched its latest Bhutan season pass this month. Meaning riders can now sign up for the pass and enjoy exclusive access, exploring a virtual Bhutan from home. Ride through green plains, climb up through forests into the mountains and pass ancient temples as you explore the world and complete challenges. Bhutan could provide all the cycling inspiration you need this December.
This month, Bhutan is available to purchase as the latest MyWhoosh exclusive season pass world. Early month-long, 7-day-a-week access to the pass gives riders the chance to unlock exclusive rewards, such as a custom MyWhoosh virtual gravel bike, and gain access to the mythical Colnago Y1RS Black and White edition.
After the season pass concludes, all riders will be able to explore the new world of Bhutan, but some of the exclusive rewards on offer won’t be available. The premium season pass costs 150 green MyWhoosh gems, which cost £9.99 or just over $13.
The MyWhoosh Pass 3 - Bhutan
Signing up for the MyWhoosh Pass 3 featuring the Bhutan world is easy. Gather 150 green gems and head to the app's home screen, click on the yellow MyWhoosh Pass 3 button with a picture of a gravel bike to unlock the pass.
Once signed up, you can enjoy exclusive early access for the entire month of December. If you want to ride in the Bhutan world, you can choose to free ride, exploring the world and circuits on your own or complete the MyWhoosh set workouts if you want to do some more structured work.
The world itself consists of six different routes of varying lengths to choose from. There’s the Bhutan outer loop, Dragon Fury, Paro City, Pele La, Thimphu City and Trongsa to choose from. The shortest circuits are Thimphu City and Paro City at just over four kilometres in length. Whilst the longest is the Bhutan outer loop at 22.8km, with 370 metres of climbing.
All but one circuit has at least one timed segment to test yourself on, and there are an additional 13 season pass challenges to complete. These range from simply completing a circuit to riding 50km in a single ride. Completing these challenges will earn you MyWhoosh season points.
Accumulate set amounts of season points, and exclusive rewards are unlocked in the season pass. These range from MyWhoosh green gems to exclusive in-game gravel gear and kit for your avatar, and the MyWhoosh Gravel outbound bike skin for your avatar to ride.
The season pass dashboard layout lets you easily track your progress in the world, and accumulating season points to unlock rewards is exciting and keeps things fresh and stimulating. There’s a real and instant satisfaction to be found in exploring the world and completing its challenges.
There’s also an exclusive bonus built into the Pass 3: it’s possible to obtain the Colnago Y1RS Black and White edition bike skin. The bike costs 75,000 MyWhoosh coins, and if unlocked, gives x1.5 season points when used.
The latest MyWhoosh update
MyWhoosh launched its latest update on December 1st, alongside the Season Pass 3 and the Bhutan world. The update included a new feature called WindFX, which is an exciting new feature when racing or free riding on Mywhoosh.
WindFx recreates the effects of the wind you would feel on a bike ride or race in real life, virtually. This makes MyWhoosh racing even more realistic and, in a racing scenario, will create more realistic tactical scenarios. The feature is currently available on Hudayriyat free ride and some Beta events.
MyWhoosh is constantly growing, exploring the new Bhutan world this December could be just the thing you need to set you up for success on the bike this spring.
