After Jakub Mareczko celebrated winning the sprint on stage 2 of the ZLM Tour, the Alpecin-Fenix rider was stripped of the result after the race jury decided he had hindered Jumbo-Visma's Mick van Dijke.
The decision elevated Olav Kooij to stage winner, giving the Dutch rider his second consecutive victory and giving a larger lead in the overall standings, with Elia Viviani (Ineos Grenadiers) climbing up to second at 9 seconds.
