The Cape Pioneer Trek is a six-day mountain bike stage race in the Klein Karoo in South Africa. Teams of two race on a route designed by legendary adventurer Katot Meyer. The cross two mountain ranges and the semi-desert Karoo as well as coastal forests. The Cape Pioneer Trek will start in Oudtshoorn on October 18 and finish in George on October 22, 2011.
