Quick.Step-Innergetic's Davide Viganò will spend 10 days out of action after being struck by a van while training. The Italian fell from his bike after the collision while training near his home in Carate Brianza, Milan yesterday.
The 22 year-old rider has broken the second metacarpus of his left hand and has a muscular tear to the quadriceps muscles. Viganò will be under observation for the next 10 days before resuming his training program on a home trainer.
