Daniel Moreno will join Omega Pharma-Lotto after signing a one-year deal with the Belgian squad. Sport.be reported that the Spaniard will leave Caisse d'Epargne after two seasons and will ride alongside World Champion Cadel Evans in 2010.
Moreno's transfer comes at the end of the most successful season in his six-year professional career. He finished second overall at the Tour of Poland before riding to 11th overall at last month's Vuelta a España. He took a stage win at the Vuelta a Chihuahua this month, and followed that up with a second place behind future teammate Philippe Gilbert at the Giro del Piemonte.
Omega Pharma-Lotto will be Moreno's third professional team. He began his career in 2004 with Spanish pro-continental team Relax and entered ProTour competition with Caisse d'Epargne in 2008.
