Latest News from the Race
Despite budget cuts for 2017, the Tour de Langkawi remains Asia's biggest race. The 2.HC eight-stage race is again one for the sprinters but the presence of the Cameron Highlands on stage 4 has attracted a cast of Colombian climbers sure to battle for overall victory.
Dimension Data are the only WorldTour team to line out for the 22nd edition of the race in what is looking like an open affair. A mix of Pro-Continental and Continental teams join Dimension Data on the start list along with the Malaysian national team.
Starting in Kuala Berang February 22, the race concludes in the administrative capital of Putrajaya March 1 where a new champion of Langkawi will be crowned.
