Maxxis-MSC has signed Olympic gold medalist Miguel Martinez to a contract for three seasons. Martinez won gold in the cross country race at the 2000 Olympics, and took bronze in the same event at the 1996 Atlanta Games. He has won the world and European championships five times, and is expected to compete in the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing.
