Tom Boonen has decided to skip racing a Porsche 996 in a 10-hour endurance motor race after cooler heads at his Quick Step team talked him out of it. The former world champion was due to compete in the November 11 race at the Zolder race track.
According to published reports, Boonen's Quick Step team has persuaded him not to take the risk.
