Bikes have always been more than just a means of transport — providing a platform for freedom, individual expression, exploration and maybe even being a force for good — and this collaboration between artist Felipe Pantone, clothing brand Romance and Specialized aims to do it all and create a modern work of art.
The Specialized Allez Sprint frameset has been painted in the style of Felipe Pantone, using the lines, colours, shapes and pixels of his art to create a unique machine that you won't see anywhere else.
The bike is completed with a SRAM Red eTAP groupset, Roval wheelset and Specialized S-Works finishing kit.
The design incorporates all sorts of elements from Felipe Pantone's work
This one-of-a-kind bike Felipe Pantone x Romance will be auctioned off on eBay on November 17, with the proceeds donated to World Bicycle Relief, a group that works in developing countries providing bikes for people as a means of transport to aid and improve access to education, healthcare and work.
A modern piece of art, signed by the artist himself
Those interested in the Felipe Pantone x Romance Specialized Allez Sprint can sign up to be notified when the bidding goes live on November 17. Bidding will be open for 10 days, closing on November 27.
