Latest News from the Race
Christoph Sauser will return to defend his past wins at the Cape Epic mountain bike stage race in South Africa, but this year, he'll be without partner and Specialized teammate Burry Stander, after the Olympian died in a training accident on January 3.
Sauser will team up with Olympic champion Jaroslav Kulhavy and the duo will take on a slew of top endurance talent in the biggest mountain bike stage race of the year.
Many riders call the Cape Epic the "Tour de France" of mountain biking.
