The UCI is expected to announce this week whether it will grant Professional Continental licenses to the following teams: Fuerteventura-Canarias, LPR (team Boifava), Benfica, Selle Italia and Aurum Hotels (former Naturino-Sapore di Mare).
According to todociclismo.com, the teams had not yet fulfilled all of the UCI's requirements, and the UCI granted them an extension of time to complete their filings. The finical decision is expected to be announced Wednesday or Thursday.
